Process Message is a point-to-point message used to request a service from another application. The Process message is usually sent from a non-system of record to the system of record (SOR). This message has an Acknowledge reply message (from the SOR) when the request is processed.
These action codes are supported:

Add: Requests that the other application create a new document or record.

Change: Requests that the other application update an existing document or record. The elements that have a change are required (change only updates the field elements sent).
Sync message is a broadcast message published by the system of record. The Sync message is used to inform other applications about the latest information for the noun. It is published after a business event causes a change in the data.
These action codes are supported:

Add: Notifies other applications that a document or record has been created.

Replace: Notifies other applications that an existing document or record has been updated. The entire document replaces (updates) all data elements.
