When IDM configuration is not completed automatically through cloud provisioning, the user will need to set up IDM with the EAM document type and information. This information can be directly accessed from the EAM server.
The path will be <protocol>://<server>/IDMDataModel.xml. Navigate to this URL (using the appropriate protocol and server address) and save the contents of the file on a local computer.
To manually import the EAM document setup in IDM:

Open the IDM application (Document Management).

Click the icon in the upper left hand side (3 horizontal bars) to the left of "Documents" in the Header title bar.

Click the Configuration icon on the right and go to Exporter – Importer.

Select the Import tab.

Click Select XML file and select the XML file that was saved to the local computer.

Click Import XML File to import the file.
