The Couchbase cluster must contain a minimum of two nodes.

Each node in the cluster can be configured to replicate its data on other nodes. Such replication is essential for providing a robust and dynamic deployment environment.

HxGN EAM and Couchbase nodes should be installed on different machines.
Since only one Couchbase node may be installed on a single (virtual) machine, a minimum of two (virtual) machines are needed for installation of the cluster.
