For equipment the system will not only do the calculations for the equipment of the work order, but also for the hierarchically related equipment. This means that if the work order is against an asset, the calculations will also be done for the position parent of that asset. Or if the work order is against a position, the child asset will also be calculated, if present and the tag option is active, i.e., there can only be one child asset. Note that the system does not perform calculations for work orders against systems.

For each work order for which data is calculated the system creates three records for the work order equipment and the related position or child asset if found. So at least 3, but possibly 6 records. Records are created for:

  • Primary and secondary closing code - See Install Parameters for details on selecting the primary and secondary closing code: The system finds all the work orders which have the same primary and secondary closing codes filled in, for the equipment under consideration and then inserts it into the table.

  • Primary code - The system finds all the work orders which have the same primary code filled in, for the equipment under consideration and then inserts it into the table. All secondary closing codes combined per primary code.

  • Neither primary nor secondary closing code - The system finds all the work orders which have primary codes filled in, for the equipment under consideration and then inserts it into the table. All codes are combined.

The following fields will be available the r5reliability table:

  • Work order number

  • Primary closing code

  • Secondary closing code

  • Equipment

  • Equipment organization

  • Type

    • Type 1: Primary and secondary closing code, as discussed above

    • Type 2: Primary code as discussed above

    • Type 3: Neither Primary nor Secondary code as discussed above

  • Closing date: The Closing date of the work order depends on the setting of install parameter RDRVACDT (or RDRVUCDT in case the value for install parameter RDRV = ‘FULL’).

  • Failure number

  • Days since last failure: Closing date of the work order minus that of the previous work order. These are considered individual failure days.

  • Cumulative failure days: Sum all previous individual failure days since last failure.

  • Mean time between failures

  • Minimum and Maximum between failures

  • Standard deviation: Calculated for both individual failure days only.

  • Average slope: Calculated for both individual and cumulative failure days.

  • Last slope: Calculated for both individual and cumulative failure days.

  • Weibull parameters: Calculated for both individual and cumulative failure days.

    • Shape parameter (Beta)

    • Scale parameter (Eta)

    • Correlation

  • Laplace calculations

  • Crow-AMSAA analysis: Calculated for both individual and cumulative failure days.

    • Slope

    • Intercept
