Location services must be enabled on the user’s mobile device and permissions granted to the Digital Work app to use the device location, at least when using the app. This will allow:

The device location to be displayed on the Optimized WO Sequence screen.

The user ability to show directions to the WO activity (see actions available for each WO location displayed on the map for details). Showing directions will use the device’s native maps application (i.e., Apple Maps or Google Maps).
