This parameter must be populated to perform an address search or buffer around an address on the Map View screen when in disconnected mode (i.e. it is not required for online address searching/buffering – see Note for details). The value of this parameter is not displayed on the mobile device and therefore cannot be updated on the device.
For maps operating in connected mode, the application will use the geocoding service
defined in EAM install parameter GISGEOSV, provided an active internet connection
is available.
