While publishing feature service, make sure to select Sync option under Service Editor - Capabilities - Feature Access tab.

  • This option must be selected regardless of whether the map will be used in online or offline mode, or whether the mobile user will be making local edits to the data.

  • Verify sync capability is enabled by checking to see that the Sync Capability section is available in the REST endpoint i.e. enter feature service URL directly into browser.
