This document describes how the HxGN EAM Asset Move mobile application can be used with the base EAM application to manage Asset Moves from one location to another. Whether the equipment is considered a fixed equipment such as pumps and motors or mobile equipment such as vehicles or portable generators, HxGN EAM Asset Move is the solution. Each equipment has a current location (current workspace) which when properly processed can be moved and changed to another location. Additionally, there is a feature to identify and track damages on the asset before and after the move.
This Technical Bulletin will provide guidance on how to make the best use of the HxGN EAM Asset Move mobile and base EAM application.
While this document is for general use of the HxGN EAM Asset Move app, it is ideally suited for vehicle or fleet moves. References and examples used in this document are for a vehicle move process.
