Now that the HxGN EAM Text System records have been updated with the translated Menu Text records, the records must be Refreshed.

The user navigates to Record View for Russian and clicks Refresh Installed Language. The Refresh Translated Text window opens. User enters the date of the upload (previous step) into Refresh Since field, checks the Menu Text check box and clicks Submit.

  1. Processing Status field immediately states Refreshing Installed Language

  2. Once the background processing begins, the Install/Uploaded Started field shows date/time the process began.

When the processing completes:

  1. Processing Status field states: Translated Text Refreshed

  2. Install/Uploaded Completed field shows date/time the process finished.

A user, whose Language field has been set to Russian (Add User), will logon and see menus in the Russian language.

It will be necessary to clear cache and delete temporary Internet files prior to logging on.

When refreshing Translated Text for Error Text, an additional step is required. Once the translated Error Text has been refreshed, the user clicks Refresh Error text File on Record View. This causes the system to create a file on the Application Server which is used to display Java Script-initiated messages
