The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of the HxGN EAM Key Management feature. Implementing and using this feature is like the HxGN EAM User’s Guide with a few exceptions which have been described in this document.
Whether it is an office or an equipment, having the ability to establish and maintain access control is vital for any organization. The HxGN EAM Key Management feature provides the means to manage keys for an organization including defining and accounting of keys and key rings. In addition, the system has a process of tracking the issuing and returning of keys and key rings.
