The Scenario Investment Plan is an investment plan for the maintenance of a particular asset. It allows the user to view the Investment Plans of a particular Scenario, optimize, unlock, restore, and submit the Investment Plan to EAM.
To navigate to these actions, click the Scenario Investment Plans tab.
Optimize Investment Plan
Optimize Plan action allows the user to create a task in the Integration Manager message bus. This triggers the constraint optimizer for individual Investment Plans through integration code and updates or creates Investment Plans result. It also sets the Investment Plan Lock to True.
During optimization, Asset Class Definition values are not included in the Planning
Result.
To optimize the Investment Plan, click the Optimize Plan hyperlink, and then click RUN.
After optimizing the Investment Plan,

The checkbox Investment Plan Locked for Editing is auto-selected.

Immediately, the Process Status updates to Optimization in Progress. Once the results are processed, the Process Status updates again to Optimization Complete.
Unlock Investment Plan
After optimizing the Investment Plan, if there is need to change the material, the Investment Plan can be unlocked using the Unlock action.
To unlock an Investment Plan, click the Unlock hyperlink.
Submit Investment Plan to EAM
After optimizing the Investment Plan, the user can submit it to EAM using the Submit action.
To submit an Investment Plan, click the Submit hyperlink. The Process Status updates to Investment Plan Submitted to EAM.
The user can submit a single planning result multiple times but, the planning result
that should be submitted to EAM must be selected.
Restore Investment Plan
The Restore action allows the user to reset the details of an Investment Plan to the selected Planning Result.
To restore the Investment Plan, click the Restore hyperlink. In the Restore Investment Plan window, select the required Planning Results and then click RUN.
