Rooms are created and maintained within HMS. The Rooms screen in EAM is completely protected except for the Structure fields. This allows administrators to establish an equipment hierarchy within EAM so that room history and costs can be tracked.
The rooms and are then created and updated within EAM automatically through ION.
Room status will be maintained and updated within HMS.

The tabs displayed are the tabs certified for use with the Rooms screen in the Hospitality Edition. Other equipment tabs can be made available; however, HxGN cannot guarantee system behavior.

The user equipment type = Rooms has been created and associated to the system type = Position. The Screen Setup screen was used to filter out all equipment types <> ‘Room from this screen’s list view.

The Type field is hidden and defaulted to Room when new records are created on this screen.

The Department field is not part of this screen. When Rooms are created the system uses Department = * when storing the record in R5OBJECTS since Department is required in the backend.
