Before getting to the details of integrating the two systems, first examine decisions that must be made. As with any HxGN EAM implementation, key decisions on how to set up data are made in advance of creating it. These decisions should always be made with the goal of streamlining and enhancing the current workflow in each environment. Linking the data between HxGN EAM and GIS should be given the same careful and thoughtful consideration.
