The Break Document Lock option (button delivered as hidden) is provided to give the ability for a document lock to be removed by a user who is different than the user who holds the lock (i.e., a document manager). It is expected that the system administrator would use screen designer features to configure this button to not be available to most user groups.
When a user breaks a document lock, the system clears the Locked By and Locked By Name fields just as when a document is being unlocked.
