On the record view tab of a selected document record that is already locked (i.e., the Locked By field is populated), click the Unlock Document button (or right click and select Unlock Document).
The system will clear the Locked By and Locked By Name fields, indicating that the document is no longer locked. A document may only be unlocked by the user who had locked the document; other users will receive an error when they attempt to unlock a document that another user has locked.
