EAM Databridge messages are known as Business Object Documents (BODs) and are based on integration specification standards developed by the Open Applications Group, Inc. (OAGi). These messages are created to encapsulate different business transactions or operations, such as purchase orders, invoices, or inventory updates, in a structured format.

BODs are XML documents consisting of two main components: a verb and a noun. The verb specifies the purpose of the entire BOD, while the noun specifies the business-specific data object or document. (e.g., SyncItemMaster or ProcessAssetMaster).

BOD XML documents also include an action code, which indicates the type of operation being performed in a BOD. This helps define the specific nature of a message relative to the verb component.
