Inbound Messages API supports basic authentication.
A valid Dataflow Studio username and password are required for API authorization. The credentials entered are validated against the Dataflow Studio system.
A Service Account user can be created in Dataflow Studio and used for API authorization. Service Account users are restricted, only having access to the Inbound Messages API. This user will not have access to the tenant canvas and will be unable to log into Dataflow Studio.
The Inbound Messages API does not reference the EAM user database and does not require
an EAM Connector user.
