The connection mechanism between HxGN EAM and the Infor ION environment is the Infor OnRamp inbox and outbox. HxGN EAM has a built-in connection to the Infor OnRamp through Databridge partners.

Open Databridge Partner form.

Locate the partner record with Partner Code = *, which is the My Enterprise partner. Switch to the Record View.

Ensure that the Active field is selected.

Save the * partner record.

Switch back to the List View of the Databridge Partner form.

Select the "All Partners" Dataspy.

Locate the INFOR-ONRAMP partner record, and switch to its Record View.

Select the Active field if it is not already selected.

For Partner ID, specify the last part of the Logical ID allocated to this HxGN EAM instance.
In an Infor ION environment, each connected software instance has its own unique
Logical ID. The Logical ID for HxGN EAM has the format such as lid://infor.eam.instance01.
Enter the last segment (instance01 in the example \) into the Partner ID field.

In on-premises EAM deployments, use Infor ION inbox and outbox inside the HxGN EAM’s database schema, leave Address, Login ID, and Login Password fields blank in the Response Details section on the Record View of the INFOR-ONRAMP partner, and skip the next step.
In cloud EAM deployments, Infor no longer supports ION IOBOX so OnRamp partner is no longer used.
The HxGN EAM Inbox/Outbox is where messages for HxGN EAM are sent and received. It is also referred to as Infor OnRamp Inbox/Outbox. For on-premises EAM deployments, HxGN EAM Inbox/Outbox needs to be in HxGN EAM database schema itself.
