Checklists are created by selecting a Task Plan with an Active Checklist associated on the following screens:
Activities tab of the Work Order screen.
Tasks tab of the Case Management screen.
Observations tab of the Nonconformities screen.
Operator Checklist screen.
LOTO tab of the Permit to Work screen.
See the Task Plans screen for proper selection to make these task plans available on these screens. For example, the Task Plan must be identified as an isolation Method to be used on the LOTO tab.
Checklists are attached to a work order activity when you select a Task Plan and / or Job Plan with an active checklist and associate this with the work order activity. You can attach more than one checklist to a work order. For PM and Maintenance Pattern work orders the checklist is generated when the work order is released.
Like the work order, checklists are attached to a LOTO step when you select an isolation method with an Active Checklist associated to the LOTO record of a permit to work. You can attach more than one checklist per permit to work.
Similarly, you can attach checklists to nonconformity observations and to case management tasks.
Checklist setup changes do not impact the earlier versions of the checklist already attached to any of the documents in HxGN EAM that support checklists. In case you do want to use the latest setup of a checklist, simply first remove the Task Plan/Isolation Method, save it, and then reattach the same.
