When one or more dynamic checklist conditions are defined, you can associate the dynamic checklist condition to one or more checklist items. These checklist items then become dynamic checklist items, meaning they will be hidden on the checklist until the trigger is answered and the condition is met.
Establishing the link between the trigger and the checklist items should display checklist items on this tab as follows:
-
Checklist Condition—Select one of the dynamic checklist conditions that you have previously defined.
-
Dynamic Checklist Item—Select one or more checklist items for which the display depends on the selected condition. Only when the condition is met will these lines be displayed on the checklist. Until then they will remain hidden. You will notice that this lookup does not show checklist items that have already been used to prevent circular references. For example, a checklist item with sequence 2 is a trigger with a condition equal to Yes. If Yes is answered on this line, the system will show (unhide) the checklist item with sequence 3. If later the checklist item with sequence 3 is also used in a condition, the system will not allow the checklist item with sequence 2 to be triggered (displayed) by an answer given to the checklist item with sequence 3.
