On the Case Tasks tab of the Service Codes screen, you can define template activities that must to be performed to complete a case. Remember this is only a template or starting point. After copying this template to a case record, you can make any changes that are required. This tab shares many attributes with the Tasks tab of the Case Management screen:

  1. Following is a list of fields that are copied to the case as default value when the service code is selected. For an explanation, see the Tasks tab of the Case Management screen above.

  2. The following Case Task tracking fields are shared:

    1. Responsible Role

    2. Responsible

    3. Responsible Name - Because this is a template record the name and e-mail are not copied here if you enter Responsible.

    4. Responsible E-mail - Because this is a template record the name and e-mail are not copied here if you enter Responsible.

    5. Assigned To Role

    6. Assigned To

    7. Assigned To Name - Because this is a template record the name and e-mail are not copied here if you enter Assigned To.

    8. Assigned To E-mail - Because this is a template record the name and e-mail are not copied here if you enter Assigned To.

    9. Planned Duration

    10. Firm Dates

    11. Notify Complete

    12. Notify Ready to Start

  3. Out of Service - Flag that indicates this template task is currently not used.

    Template Case Tasks can also be used to pre-define follow-up work order requirements. The fields available on the this tab for this purpose are similar to those on the Case Management screen itself, with the exception of the actual follow-up work order number.

  4. Buttons:

    1. Add/Edit Comments - This button brings up the comments pop-up to maintain comments for the template task.

    2. Add/Edit Documents - This button brings up the documents pop-up to maintain documents for the template task. When you associate a document here you can choose to copy the document or to copy the link. If you have referenced a fill-in form it is best to select copy document, because the system will create a new document for the specific case when the task is copied.

    3. Translate Task - This button will bring up a pop-up window on which the entered template task Description can be translated.

    4. Translate WO Description - This button will bring up a pop-up window on which the entered template WO Description can be translated.
