The Import Test Points Pop-up can be used to import existing calibration test points from a selected record to another record. This functionality saves time as test points are often duplicated across similar instruments or calibration records (work orders).

Test points can be imported from an equipment (A/S/P), category, or work order to another equipment, category, or a work order.

  • Test points cannot be imported from more than one record simultaneously.

  • Equipment configuration test points cannot be imported to any other entities.

  • Work order test points cannot be imported to equipment, categories, or equipment configurations. Work order test points can only be imported to other work orders.

  • Equipment and category test points can be imported to other equipment, categories, equipment configurations, and work orders.

The ‘Action’ called Import Test Points can be selected from the Test Points tab for Equipment, Categories, and Equipment Configurations, as well as the Calibration tab for Work Orders screens.

Once the pop-up is open:

  1. Select the From (from entity).

  2. Select the specific record associated to the From value, from which you want to import test points.

  3. The system will populate the grid with the test points associated to the specific record selected.

  4. The user can select one or more test points in the grid to import to the record selected on the calling screen.

  5. The user can click the Import Test Points button to perform the import.

The Use equipment from radio button only applies when the pop-up is opened from the Calibration tab for Work Order and the user has elected to import test points from another work order. If the WO Header radio button is selected, the work order header equipment will be displayed and imported with each test point. If the Test Point(s) radio button is selected, the test point equipment will be displayed and imported with each test point.
