This tab is used to specify one or more Greenhouse Gases that may be emitted into the atmosphere by leakage of a Part, such as refrigerant. In addition, the Emission Amount per UOM of the Part is set and the corresponding quantity of CO2e emission is calculated.

Example #2: The Part, ABC-125, is a refrigerant. It is known to emit greenhouse gas HFC-125 into the atmosphere. If a resupply of a cooling system required an amount of ABC-125 because of a leak (check box in Issue/Return Parts transaction), then some of the refrigerant must have escaped and leaked HFC-125 into the atmosphere. This would be a Scope-1 Greenhouse Gas Emission.
