Issue

There is an issue with the auto-update capability of our edge clients that use Docker Desktop. You must complete the workaround below for all connection types, except AVEVA PI and cloud deployments of HxGN EAM, in order to leverage the new EAM references feature in this release.

Workaround

  1. Navigate to where your existing edge client is installed.

  2. Uninstall the existing connection.

  3. Download the latest package for your edge client and extract the files to the same folder.

  4. Install the new version of the edge client.
