Select a filter.

Select Edit > Copy

After a copy of the filter is on the Clipboard, you can paste it into another folder or compound filter.

This command places a copy of the selected filter on the Clipboard. The original filter remains in the active window.

You can also copy a filter by pressing and holding CTRL, selecting the filter, and dragging to another folder or compound filter.

Changes in the copied filter do not appear in the original, and vice versa. You must create a shortcut for the original and copied filters to pass changes to each other.
