This method allows you to import SAP Project and its Structure into EcoSys by creating a Project from SAP, importing Commitments from SAP, and importing SAP Actuals.

  1. In the Project Setup > Project Register panel, select the SAP Import Group as Default.

This conveys the connect jobs whether the project should be included or not in the processing.

  2. Select the required SAP Project ID for the project that needs to be connected to SAP Structure.

    • This attribute should be used only for the projects that need to be enabled as SAP Project.

    • One Project ID can be mapped only with one SAP Project ID

  3. Select the SAP Project Import ID to Y to run the connect job against the respective EcoSys Project.

This helps you to view the projects that you need to run against when importing Actuals or Commitments.

  4. Create Project from SAP.

This action imports the SAP Project and its structure into EcoSys.

This Project will have a SAP Project ID, unlike the standard EcoSys PRJ prefix that is set for EcoSys projects in Enterprise default.

  5. Import Commitments from SAP against the Project.

This action Imports the selected Project's Commitments from SAP.

  6. Import SAP Actuals against the Project.

This action Imports the selected SAP Project's Actuals into Production Costs.
