Create an Estimate Project from Active Project - EcoSys - 4.03 - Help - Hexagon

This procedure allows you to create a new estimate project using the selected active project as a source project. The new project will consist of the source project's structure. The new project will be created from the project created in the Project Setup screen (Projects > Project Setup). After the estimate project is created, a log entry appears on the Log tab and an email notification is sent to the project creator to confirm that the project was successfully created.

Any transactions with unassigned Cost Accounts will be assigned to Other Direct Costs.

1. Click the Actions list and select Create Estimate Project from Active Project.

2. Type the required Project Name.

3. Click the Source Project ellipsis and select the required active source project.

4. Click the Security Organization ellipsis and select the security organization. By default, the Organization appears.

5. (Optional) Type the Comment.

6. Click RUN and then OK.

   To view the log entry, click the Project ID hyperlink and then click the Log tab in the Project Details panel.
