Enterprise Cost Analysis - EcoSys - 4.03 - Help - Hexagon

Enterprise Cost Analysis allows you to view the health status and costs for all projects in the enterprise. Total costs appear in the Enterprise Budget Status panel, and costs by month for the selected year appear in the bar charts in the in the Enterprise S-Curve panel.

Follow the procedure below to view the enterprise cost analysis.

1. Navigate to Portfolios > Enterprise Cost Analysis.

2. At the top of the screen, in the tool bar, click the Portfolio Period ellipsis to select the required month and year.

3. If required, click the Refresh icon to update the screen. The portfolio details appear in the Enterprise Budget Status panel, and also appear in a graphical format in the Enterprise S-Curve chart.

   Enterprise Budget Status details listed below include:

   • Portfolio: Displays the portfolio name.

   • Portfolio Health: Displays the portfolio health status for the selected period.

   • Original Budget: Displays the total original budget of all the projects in the portfolio.

   • Pending Changes: Displays the total cost of the submitted changes for all the projects in the portfolio.

   • Approved Changes: Displays the total cost of the approved changes for all the projects in the portfolio.

   • Current Budget: Displays the total current budget of all the projects in the portfolio.

   • Commitments: Displays the total commitments of all the projects in the portfolio.

   • Actuals: Displays the total actuals of all the projects in the selected portfolio.

   • Earned Value: Displays the earned value of all the projects in the portfolio.

   • Forecast Changes: Displays the total cost of all the changes of type- Forecast for the all the projects in the portfolio.

   • Current Forecast: Displays the total current forecast for all the projects in the portfolio.

4. Click the Portfolio Health hyperlink to display the portfolios’ Portfolio Budget Status screen in a new window.

5. To view the original budget details, click the Original Budget hyperlink. The project ID, project name, hours, cost, currency, and cost in enterprise currency appear in the Original Budget panel.

6. To view the current budget details, click the Current Budget hyperlink. The project ID, project name, hours, cost, currency, and cost in enterprise currency appear in the Current Budget panel.

7. To view the earned value details, click the Earned Value hyperlink. The project ID, project name, hours, cost, currency, and cost in enterprise currency appear in the Earned Value panel.

8. To view the current forecast details, click the Current Forecast hyperlink. The project ID, project name, hours, cost, currency, and cost in enterprise currency appear in the Current Forecast panel.

9. To view the actuals details, click the Actuals hyperlink.
