This procedure allows you to update the general attributes of a Portfolio Risk. Also you can create, view, edit, and delete Risk Triggers.

  1. In the RISK REGISTER tab, click the Risk ID hyperlink.

  2. In the Portfolio Risk Details Tabs panel, click the GENERAL tab.

    By default, the last selected risk appears in the Risk ellipsis. To change the risk, click the Risk ellipsis in the parameter bar and select the required risk.

  3. Type the below information:

    • Risk Description

    • Rank

    • Alternate ID

    • Unmitigated Risk Value

    • Unmitigated Schedule Impact (days)

    • Impact Summary

    • Action Plan

  4. Click the ellipsis for each of the below boxes and select the required values.

    • Status

    • Type

    • Category

    • Impact

    • Probability

    • Owner

      The administrator sets up a list of owners that appear in the Owner ellipsis.

  5. Click SAVE. The Risk Score is auto-populated. See Update Risk Attributes topic for Risk Score calculation.

  6. If required, click the Refresh icon in the Risk Register panel to view the updated changes.

    To update the general attributes directly, enter the above values in the Risk Register panel and click SAVE.

  7. Click the Triggers hyperlink.

  8. Click the Insert Row icon to add a new trigger.

  9. Type the below information related to Trigger:

    • Trigger ID

    • Description

    • External Email - Type only if the Resource ID is an external resource

    • Probability Impact Weighting - Type the appropriate value based on the impact of the trigger

    • Comment

  10. Click the Resource ID ellipsis and select the Resource ID.

    To view the Resource Name and Resource Email, click SAVE.

  11. Click the Status ellipsis to select the status of the Trigger. The available values are listed below:

    • Potential

    • Realized

  12. Select the Estimated Date when the risk could trigger.

  13. Select the Actual Date when the risk occurs.

  14. Click SAVE.

    • Click the Delete Row(s) icon to delete the selected trigger.

    • You can customize the view of the Triggers spreadsheet from View Settings.
