The Capital Plan screen displays the snapshot and current projects cost over time. The capital plan is presented in a spreadsheet and chart formats.

Follow the procedure below to view the capital plan:

  1. Navigate to Portfolios > Capital Planning.

  2. At the top of the screen, in the tool bar:

    1. Click the Start Year ellipsis to select the fiscal start year.

    2. Click the End Year ellipsis to select the fiscal end year.

    3. Click the Capital Plan Snapshot ellipsis to select the required time period label. The corresponding project cost details appear in the Capital Plan panel.

    4. (Optional) Click the Portfolio ellipsis to select the required portfolios and click the OK button.

    5. (Optional) Click the Status ellipsis to select the required status and click the OK button.

  3. If required, click the Refresh icon to update the screen.

  4. To add a project to the capital plan, select the Include in Plan check box corresponding to it.

    To remove the project from the capital plan, clear the Include in Plan check box.

  5. Click SAVE.

  6. If required click the Refresh icon to view the updated information in the Capital Plan for Start Year and the Capital Plan Multi-Year bar charts.

    SHARED Tip You can customize the view of the Capital Plan panel from the View Settings.

    • The Capital Plan for Start Year bar chart displays the summarized current budget, funding, capital plan, and current forecast for each month of the selected Start Year. View the updated capital plan for start chart bar chart in the Capital Plan for Start Year panel.

    • The Capital Plan Multi-Year bar chart displays the summarized current budget, funding, capital plan, and current forecast on a yearly basis starting from the Start Year to End Year. View the updated capital plan for start chart bar chart in the Capital Plan for Multi-Year panel.
