Follow the procedure below to update the general attributes.

  1. In the Portfolio Risk Details panel, click the General tab.

    By default, the last selected risk appears in the Risk ellipsis. To change the risk, click the Risk ellipsis in the green parameter bar and select the required risk.

  2. Type the required Risk Description to edit the existing description of the risk.

  3. Click the ellipsis to select the required values in the below fields:

    • Status - Status of the risk. The available values are listed below:

      • ASD - Assessed

      • CNT - Controlled

      • IDN - Identified

      • MGD - Managed

    • (Optional) Type - Type of the risk. The available values are listed below:

      • OPP - Opportunity

      • THR - Threat

    • (Optional) Category - Category of the risk. The available values are listed below:

      • CST - Cost

      • FND - Funding

      • REG - Regulatory

      • RES - Resource

      • SCH - Schedule

      • SCP - Scope

    • (Optional) Impact - Impact of the risk. The available values are listed below:

      • 1 - Negligible

      • 2 - Minor

      • 3 - Moderate

      • 4 - Critical

      • 5 - Significant

    • (Optional) Probability - Frequency of the risk. The available values are listed below:

      • 1 - Improbable

      • 2 - Remote

      • 3 - Occasional

      • 4 - Probable

      • 5 – Frequent

    • (Optional) Owner - Owner of the risk.

      The administrator sets up a list of owners that appear in the Owner ellipsis.

  4. (Optional) Type the Rank.

  5. (Optional) Type the impact of the risk in Impact Summary.

  6. (Optional) Type the Action Plan.

  7. Click SAVE.

    The value in the Score is calculated based on the selected Impact and Probability. For example, if the Impact selected is 2 - Minor and the Probability selected is 4 - Probable, the Score is calculated by multiplying 4 and 2, which is 8. Based on the score value, the following changes appear in Score:

    • If the value of the score ranges from 1-7, it appears with a green background.

    • If the value of the score ranges from 8-16, it appears with an amber background.

    • If the value of the score ranges from 17-25, it appears with a red background.

  8. In the Risk Register panel, click REFRESH to view the updated changes.

    To update the general attributes directly, enter the above values in the Risk Register panel and click SAVE.
