This procedure allows you to review the existing estimated cost details and, also update new estimated cost details while progressing through the project stage gates. Once the estimated cost details are updated, these are time-phased based on the project start date, end date, and the project curve.

In the Gate Review panel, click the Estimated Cost tab.

Click the Details tab. The estimated cost details of the project are imported from the Opportunity screen.
By default, the last selected project appears in the project ellipsis. To change
the default project, click the project ellipsis in the green parameter bar and select
the required project.

On the Details tab, click the Insert Row icon to add a new row.

Click the ellipsis to select the required values for the below fields:

Object Path ID: Select the required object ID.

Cost Account ID: Select the required account. By default, account- Default appears.

Curve: Select the required curve. By default, Linear appears in the Curve ellipsis.

Resource: Select the required resource.

UOM: Select the required units of measurement.

Currency: Select the required currency.

Edit the required Start Date and End Date. By default, the project start date and end date appear.

Type the required Quantity of resources.

Type the estimated number of Hours to be spent on the project.

Type the Cost to be spent on the resources.

Click the Save
icon. The Time Phased Estimated Cost dialog box appears.

Click the Project ellipsis to select the required project. By default, the last selected project appears.

Click the Stage Gate Process ellipsis to select the required stage gate process.

Click the Run button. The Time Phased Estimated Cost confirmation dialog box appears.

Click the OK button.

Based on the updates done in the Details tab, information is auto-populated in the Time-Phasing tab.

Based on the curve type, start date, and end date selected in the Details tab, the graph displays the project in the Chart tab.
