Use the following steps to update the EcoSys web application on the IBM WebSphere Liberty application server.

  1. Stop the IBM WebSphere Liberty service

  2. Delete the following files or folders

    1. <Liberty Install Location>\wlp\usr\servers\defaultServer\apps\expanded

    2. <Liberty Install Location>\wlp\usr\servers\defaultServer\workarea

  3. Replace the ecosys.war file in <Liberty Install Location>\wlp\user\servers\defaultServer\apps with the ecosys.war file in the \deploy folder of the EcoSys application/upgrade package.

  4. Start the IBM WebSphere Liberty service
