This procedure allows you to view and update the general attributes of the project.

  1. In the Project Details panel, click the General tab.

    By default, the last selected estimate project appears in the Project ellipsis. To change the estimate project, click the Project ellipsis and select the required estimate project.

  2. (Optional) Edit the Project Name. By default, the project name entered during the project creation appears.

  3. (Optional) Type in the required Alternate ID.

  4. Select the required Project Start Date and Project End Date.

  5. Click the ellipsis to select the required values in the below fields:

    • (Optional) Portfolio: Select the required portfolio.

    • (Optional) Location: Select the location where the project will be setup.

    • Security Org: Select the required security organization.

      Status of the estimate project auto-populates.

    • (Optional) Estimate Type: Select the estimate type for the project.

    • (Optional) Estimate Classification: Select the estimate classification of the project.

    • (Optional) Responsible Org: Select the required organization that is responsible to maintain the project.

    • (Optional) Client: Select the client for the project.

    • (Optional) Attachment: Attach the project related document. To attach the document, perform the following:

      1. Click the Attachment ellipsis.

      2. Click UPLOAD.

      3. Click Choose File to select a file to upload and click the OK button.

        The document details appear in the Attachment dialog box.

      4. Type the description of the document in Document Description.

      5. Click Close. The selected file is attached in the Attachment column.

  6. (Optional) Type in the required Objective.

  7. Click SAVE.
