Set Project Activation Gate - EcoSys - 4.01 - Administration & Configuration - Hexagon PPM

This procedure allows you to setup a stage gate as a stage gate activation step. Once a stage gate set as a stage gate activation step, a log entry appears in the Stage Gate Setup Log panel. After the project activation gate is approved during the stage gate process, the project becomes active.

If a stage gate activation gate is not set; by default, the last stage gate is considered as a stage gate activation step.

1. Navigate to Admin > Portfolios Admin > Stage Gates Setup.

2. Click the Actions list and select Set Project Activation Gate.

   

   The Set Project Activation Gate dialog box appears.

   

3. Click the Stage Gate Process ellipsis to select the required stage gate process.

4. Click the Stage Gate Activation Step ellipsis to select the required stage gate.

5. (Optional) Type a Comment.

6. Click the Run button. The Set Project Activation Gate confirmation dialog box appears.

   

7. Click the OK button.
