This procedure allows you to apply changes made in the scenario to the portfolio. A Portfolio Balancing change is created which lists every project added or removed from the selected portfolio. A portfolio log entry is also created.
To view the Portfolio Balancing change, navigate to Portfolios > Monitoring > Changes.

Navigate to Portfolios > Strategic Balancing.

In the Project Selection Scenarios panel, select the check box corresponding to one or more projects.

Click the Save
icon.

Click the Actions list and select Promote Scenario To Portfolio.
The Promote Scenario To Portfolio dialog box appears.

Click the Portfolio ellipsis to select the required portfolio. By default, the last selected portfolio appears.
The Portfolio displayed in the green parameter bar at the top of the screen is the only portfolio
available for the selection in the Promote Scenario To Portfolio dialog box. -
Click the Run button. The Promote Scenario To Portfolio confirmation box appears.

Click the OK button. The selected project(s) gets added to the portfolio.

In the Project Selection Scenarios panel, click the Refresh button. The portfolio name appears in the Portfolio column.
In the Planned vs Current Balance panel, view the updated strategic alignment in the bar chart.
