Create or Update Object-Specific Weighted Quantities Structure - EcoSys - 2.03 - Administration & Configuration - Hexagon PPM

This procedure allows you to manually create or update for a specific object element using the Weighted Quantities tab.

1. Navigate to Admin > Projects Admin > Project Structure Template.

2. At the top of the screen, in the green parameter bar, click the Template ellipsis to select the required project template.

3. Click Refresh for screen update.

4. Click the Template WBS tab.

5. Click the Type hyperlink. The Template WBS Details panel appears.

6. In the Template WBS Details panel, click the Weighted Quantities tab.

7. Click the Insert Row icon to add a new row.

8. Type in a unique ID.

9. Type in the required Description.

10. Type in the required Weight. If Weight is not entered, Weighted % Complete cannot be calculated correctly.

    It is recommended that the total weight of line items equals 100, but this is not a requirement.

11. Click the UOM ellipsis to select the required units of measurement.

12. Click the Save button.
