This procedure changes the status of a punch list item to Closed. Closed punch list items can no longer be edited. Once the punch list item is closed, a log entry appears, and all the workflow users established in the Project Setup screen with a Distribution List value set to All Workflows are notified.

Navigate to Contracts > Punch List.

Click the Actions list and select Close Item.

Click the Punch List Item ellipsis to select the required punch list item. By default, the last selected punch list item appears.

(Optional) Select the Close Date.

(Optional) Type in the Comment.

Click RUN and then OK. The status of the punch list item changes to Closed, in the Item Register panel.
