The reorganization utility is used to delete projects and all associated project data from the system. Use this utility carefully. If used incorrectly, critical enterprise data could be deleted.

  1. Navigate to Admin > Reorganization.

  2. Select the Cost Object object type.

  3. Click the Apply button. A Cost Object ellipsis appears.

  4. Click the Cost Object ellipsis and select a required cost object. The project name appears in the Cost Object ellipsis.

  5. The project name selected will appear in the Cost Object list box.

  6. Click Cascading Delete button. The Cascading Delete Cost Object dialog box appears.

  7. Type DELETE and click the OK button. The project will be deleted. Depending upon the size of the project, this may be completed in seconds, minutes, or longer.

    The word DELETE must be upper case letters.

  8. Navigate to Projects > Project Setup to review the project register to ensure the project is no longer displayed.
