Once a budget is approved, there is a need to preserve the integrity of the Original Contract Budget across the life of the Contract. There is also a need to adjust the Current Contract Budget as changes occur related to scope, schedule, or other factors. The Contract Change module is used to approve changes to the Current Contract Budget, which is equal to the Original Budget plus approved changes.

In the out-of-the-box EcoSys Contracts system, the end user may create, maintain and view Contract Changes. Contract Change approval workflow functionality is also provided. In addition, a number of Contract Change Reports are available.
