Alix is integrated within EcoSys products and cannot be accessed from outside these applications.
To get the user accessibility:

Go to Admin>Core Admin>Users and Security>Maintain User

Select the check box of Enable for Chat Access for your name.
If you do not have permission to perform this action, contact your system administrator
to grant chat access and allocate additional tokens.
What are tokens and their usage?
AI chat usage is determined by tokens. An AI token is a basic unit of text that the
AI model processes, dividing input data into smaller components such as words, sub-words,
or characters. The LLM calculates charges based on the number of tokens processed.
Base Allocation

Each customer is automatically enrolled in the Basic Limited Tier which includes a fixed number of tokens per month.

Tokens automatically reset at midnight on the 1st of every month.

An environment = Test + Dev + Production servers (clustered together).

Each environment is allocated a fixed number of tokens per month.
Additional Tokens

Customers can purchase additional tokens. When purchased, a new license file will
be issued with the setting:
license.ai.chat.tokensPerMonth

This license file applies to Dev, Test, and Production.
The total number of tokens in the license file is split equally across the three environments.
Token Status

EcoSys tracks a user's token usage within the Chat window, where a % remaining is made available.

When the token % is between 20-50%, the percentage remaining is displayed in yellow.

When the token % is below 20%, the percentage remaining is displayed in red.

If the user has expended their token percentage, a message is displayed stating: "Out
of tokens – To use Alix, contact your administrator to allocate more tokens."

A situation can occur where an individual user has token % remaining, but other users
have expended all the tokens. In this scenario, all users will see 0% and the message
appears stating : "System Out of tokens- To use Alix, contact your administrator to purchase more tokens".

To initiate a conversation with Alix:

Select the icon
located at the top right corner of the EcoSys UI.
Alix chat window appears.

On the chat window, you can ask questions or initiate work processes.

In the Alix chat window:

Clear Chat option clears the previous chat conversation.

- This icon below the user's question copies the question to the clipboard.

- This icon below the chat response, copies the answer to the clipboard.

- These icons capture user feedback on the chat experience.

If you select Like
icon, the user can provide additional feedback (optional) on their positive experience.

If you select Dislike icon
, the user can submit additional feedback on their negative experience or areas of
improvement.

- Displays a detailed breakdown of how the response was generated.

You can download the Chat Data which includes both the questions asked and the answers
provided from the User Settings
. This downloads the Chat Data for the currently logged in user only.

Alix also supports conversing in non-English languages.
