Business Intelligence enhancements for Oracle Cloud users - HxGN EAM - 12.3 - Release Notes - Hexagon

Two new menu items were introduced for Oracle Cloud customers to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities:

1. Business Intelligence Author

   1. Launches a new browser window where the EAM user is automatically signed into a customized EAM instance for the Business Intelligence tool.

   2. Users can create datasets, charts, and dashboards using EAM system tables, views, and custom queries.

   3. Access requires the Author check box to be selected on the user's EAM profile.

2. Business Intelligence Dashboards

   1. Opens within the EAM application (not a separate window) and displays a read-only embedded view of the Business Intelligence tool.

   2. Shows dashboards published by BI Author users for the tenant, provided they contain at least one chart.

   3. Users can click on a dashboard name to view its associated charts.
