The license management client software can be installed on the application server
or on a separate server. You do not need to set up a separate license server, but
this optional setup is recommended for better performance. In either case, the License
Server component must be installed on the same server as the license management client
software. This component handles licensing for your product and allows you to create
a site in Server Manager for the licensing function.

Double-click IM_setup.exe.

In the Welcome window, click Start Setup.

In the Details and Features window, enter your Serial Number, User Name, and Company.

In the Select Features To Install section, select the components you want to install and clear any check boxes for any software that you do not want to install.

Server Components:

Server - Installs the core Server component.

License Service - Installs the software that controls licensing for the product.

In the Install Path section, enter the path to where the software is to be installed, and click Install.
Required information is marked by a red star. The Install button is not available until all this information is provided.

In the License Agreement window, from the Country or Region list, select your country or region.

Carefully read the license agreement. When you are finished, select I agree to the license agreement and conditions, and click Next.

Click Finish when the installation is complete.
