The following topic explains from where to download the Data Integrity Checker Utility (including the Issues file) and from where to download the Issues file when the Issues file has been updated.

Download the Data Integrity Checker Utility

Data Integrity Checker Utility must be downloaded onto the machine where you have installed Smart Instrumentation.

  1. Download the Data Integrity Checker Utility by going to the PPM Smart Community > Existing.Users > Log In Now and log in to your account.

If you do not have a PPM Smart Community account use New Users > Request an Account and fill in the request form.

  2. After logging in, navigate to the Downloads section, locate and select the DataIntegrity.zip file and download it to your machine.

  3. Extract all of the DataIntegrity.zip file to the folder where you have Smart Instrumentation installed.

    • After the extraction of the DataIntegrity.zip file is complete, a new folder called DataIntegrity is displayed in the Instrumentation home folder.

    • By default the Instrumentation home folder is located under Program Files (x86) > SmartPlant > Instrumentation. If you installed it in a different folder or drive you must make sure the DataIntegrity.zip file is extracted to where you installed Smart Instrumentation.

Download the Data Integrity Checker Utility Issues File

The Issues file contains all the SQL Queries used by the Data Integrity Checker Utility to check your database, and where necessary make corrections to your database. On occasion, this file may be updated by Hexagon support. If you are asked by Hexagon Support to upgrade this file, or you want to make sure you have the latest version installed, do the following.

The Issues file is a locked file and cannot be upgraded by any user, apart from Hexagon Support.

  1. Download the Issues file by going to the PPM Smart Community > Existing.Users > Log In Now and log in to your account.

If you do not have a PPM Smart Community account use New Users > Request an Account and fill in the request form.

  2. After logging in, navigate to the Downloads section, locate and select the DataIntegrityCommands.ddti file and download it to your machine.

  3. Locate the Data Integrity Checker folder and place the Issues file in this folder.

The new file overwrites the existing file.
