Enter the total depth of the groove weld. Most groove welds between the nozzle and the vessel are full penetration welds. The depth of the weld is the same as the depth of the component (that is, the thickness of the nozzle). If the nozzle is attached with a partial penetration weld, or just a fillet weld, enter the depth of the partial penetration or a zero, respectively, in this field.
