Enter the distance from the bottom leg support point to the attachment point on the vessel. This length term is used in determining the legs resistance to bending. Long legs are more likely to buckle than shorter legs. In order to eliminate torsional modes of vibration, legs in excess of about 10 feet should be crossbraced.
