Enter the corrosion allowance on the concave side of the head. The shell side and tube side corrosion allowances are fully implemented in this version of the Floating Heads module. Thicknesses and diameters are adjusted by the software for the evaluation of allowable pressure. They are also added to the required thicknesses.
Some common corrosion allowance values are:
