  • If you have purchased both CloudWorx and Cyclone (REGISTER, MODEL, SURVEY, or SERVER), refer to the installation instructions for Cyclone.

  • Install the required version of SmartPlant Review before installing CloudWorx. If you are still running an earlier version of SmartPlant Review, upgrade to the latest version first.

Install CloudWorx

  1. If you have not installed and configured SmartPlant License Manager on your workstation, we recommend doing so before installing CloudWorx. Refer to the SmartPlant License Manager User's Guide and the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client User's Guide for install and setup information.

  2. Insert the CloudWorx for SmartPlant Review DVD. If the installation does not start automatically, double-click CloudWorxSmartPlantReview_Setup.exe.

  3. Click Start Setup from the Welcome screen.

    The Prerequsities screen displays if you do not have one or more required components installed.

    1. For SmartPlant Review:

      1. Click Exit and then install the listed SmartPlant Review version.

      2. Re-start the CloudWorx for SmartPlant Review installation.

    2. For Leica Geosystems Cyclone:

      1. Click Leica Geosystems Cyclone to start the Cyclone installation.

      2. Select the Cyclone application (Cyclone Customized Installation) or the free Cyclone VIEWER, and then click Next.

      3. Follow the remaining prompts to install Cyclone, and then click Finish.

    3. For Microsoft .NET Framework:

      1. You might have to go to the Microsoft Download Center to install the required version of .NET Framework.

      2. Re-start the CloudWorx for SmartPlant Review installation.

    4. Click Try Again on the Prerequisites screen after you have installed all the required components, and then click Start Setup.

  4. Type your name, company name, and the CloudWorx serial number you received with your purchase.

  5. Specify the Install Path location, and then click Next.

  6. Select the required Country or Region to review the License Agreement.

  7. Select the check box to accept the agreement, and then click Install.
    -OR-
    Cancel the installation process.

    The software installs CloudWorx for SmartPlant Review.

  8. Upon completion, click Finish.

    CloudWorx for SmartPlant Review immediately opens the Readme file if you selected View Readme. The Readme contains information including version compatibility, new feature lists, special instructions, and fixes.

  9. Click Yes if you are prompted to restart your computer to complete the installation.
