If you use Valve Flange Database 
, then the software sets the value for Rigid Type. For more information, see Valve Flange Database.
The software graphically displays the rigid type in the model view.

When you select Flange-Valve-Flange in Valve Flange Database , the software creates a valve and a pair of flanges. For more information, see Valve and Flange Database: <database name> Dialog Box.
If you have not specified a value for Element Name, then the software defines Element Name with the value for Rigid Type. No change is made to Element Name when Rigid Type is Unspecified.
