Converts 3D models created in CADWorx Steel to CADWorx Structure model objects. This includes Members, Ladders, Stairs, and Handrails.
Review CADWorx Steel Legacy Components
Lets you review a model created in CADWorx Steel, including all of the information attached to the model components.
Object
Specifies the object from Steel that Structure needs to convert.
Long Description
Specifies the long description of the object.
Short Description
Specifies the short description of the object.
Tag
Specifies the tag of the object.
Part Number
Specifies the part number of the object.
Some objects do not contain any long description, short description, tag, or part number. This data depends on the information received from the original model.
Review Object and Material Mapping
Project File
Specifies the project file to use for the conversion. Click Set Library to select a different project file.
Set Library
Displays the Structure Setup allowing you to set a project file or any other setup properties as needed.
Mapping File
Opens a saved mapping file.
Save
Saves any changes you make to a mapping file. If you do not have a mapping file defined, this button acts the same as the Save As option.
Save As
Displays the Save As dialog box, which allows you to save a new mapping file.
Reset
Resets mapped properties to the loaded mapping file.
Unknown Section Size
Displays the unknown section size from the steel data.
Component Type
Specifies the component type of the unknown section size.
Selection Data Table
Specifies the section data table that contains the matching section size for the unknown section size. You can edit this list if you have more than one data table.
Mapped to this Section Size
Specifies the section size to map to the unknown size. Select the size to map to match the unknown section size.
Unknown Material
Displays the unknown material found in the steel data.
Mapped to this Material
Specifies the material to map to the unknown material.
Save Report To File
Saves the conversion report to a file.
